    Breakfast: Giacomo Tabaccheria

Your Milan adventure begins at Giacomo Tabaccheria, a classic Milanese café where old-world charm meets modern style. Settle into its cosy, softly lit space, complete with vintage wood panelling and plush leather banquettes, setting the tone for a sophisticated morning. Enjoy a perfectly frothed cappuccino and a warm brioche al pistacchio, soaking in the Milanese rhythm before stepping out into the vibrant streets. Strolling Through Brera’s Artistic Neighborhood

From Giacomo, take a walk through Brera, Milan’s bohemian neighbourhood where art, history, and design come together. The cobbled streets are lined with independent galleries, artisan shops, and design studios, offering a mix of vintage and modern aesthetics. Don’t miss the Pinacoteca, one of Italy’s most important art museums, with its impressive collection of works from Piero della Francesca, Caravaggio, and more. Brera is a living testament to Milan’s creative spirit, offering inspiration around every corner.

    Lunch: Trattoria del Ciumba

Hidden away from the crowds, Trattoria del Ciumba is a true Milanese gem, offering warmth and authenticity. The air is filled with the rich aroma of slow-cooked ossobuco, Milan’s traditional dish made with braised veal shanks, paired perfectly with saffron-infused risotto alla Milanese. The rustic décor, decorated with vintage Italian memorabilia, takes you back to a bygone era where meals were enjoyed slowly, with stories shared over a few glasses of Barolo.

Discovering Luca Faloni & Winetage Collaboration

From April 8-13, during Salone del Mobile, we’re thrilled to present the collaboration between Luca Faloni and Winetage. After lunch, head over to Via Bitossi 2 to discover our tribute to Italy’s rich traditions of tailoring, winemaking, and furniture craftsmanship. This installation blends sustainably repurposed oak with Luca Faloni’s signature Brushed Cotton, creating a space that embodies the essence of la Dolce Vita. Designed for those who appreciate the art of slow living, it invites visitors to relax, sip, and immerse themselves in the beauty of Italian craftsmanship.

    Bar: Bar Basso

As the golden hour sets over Milan, there’s no better place for an aperitivo than Bar Basso, the legendary spot for design enthusiasts. Known as the birthplace of the Negroni Sbagliato, this iconic bar has been a favourite of creatives for years. The cocktail was created in the 1970s when bartender Mirko Stocchetto accidentally used sparkling wine instead of gin in a classic Negroni, resulting in a lighter, effervescent drink quickly becoming a staple. Order the signature cocktail and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, where designers and artists gather to celebrate another day of inspiration.

A glamorous haven for the world’s elite, the hotel has hosted an extraordinary range of guests, from Edward VIII to Josephine Baker. With its neoclassical grandeur and impeccable service, this five-star sanctuary offers the perfect blend of classic elegance and modern comfort.
